Rotorua Dog Training Club

Safety Management Plan

Objective: To assist in providing a safe environment, identify hazards and mitigate these where possible.

As the Rotorua Dog Training Club does not have any employees, it is not required to meet the obligations laid out under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

However, the Club recognises the importance of providing information to members, to assist in their safe use of the club facilities, and classes.

Therefore, this information is provided to new members commencing the CGC Basic’s class and a copy is available on the club website. A copy will also be displayed in the club rooms.

This club has a “no harm” philosophy for dog training and positive reinforcement is promoted. Therefore, no harsh handling of dogs is permitted.
